LOL

John Lennon's son, Julian, is auctioning a collection of Beatles memorabilia as a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The "Lennon Connection" revolves around some notes written by Paul McCartney when writing "Hey Jude," one of the Beatles' most well-known songs. McCartney wrote the song as a form of healing for Julian after his parents' divorce.

The collection also contains apparel used by John Lennon in the Beatles films and several guitars gifted to Julian Lennon by his father. The NFTs come in audio-visual souvenirs, each with Julian's narrative.
On February 7, the auction will take place on the NFT marketplace YellowHeart. YellowHeart is a firm that sells tickets and other music-related things as NFTs using Ethereum and Polygon connections. In March of last year, it hosted Kings of Leon's album as an NFT, a first for a rock band.

The availability of NFTs associated with The Beatles, one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, may rekindle interest in using the technology to sell music-related collectables.
Julian isn't the first member of the family to be linked to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Sean Ono Lennon, his half brother, has built a name for himself as a proponent of bitcoin, saying in a podcast in November 2020 that the world's largest cryptocurrency is "one of the only things" that gives him hope for "the future and humanity in general."
